MembersIn the interest of maintaining independence and avoiding conflicts of interest, the members of IMDEC are organized into a separate decision-making body or independent review board (IRB).
The role of IMDEC’s management and ownership is restricted to the provision of administrative support – at IMDEC, no managers, owners or relatives thereof may also function as board members. Similarly excluded from assuming the role of a board member are any individuals employed by a company that is active in the development, production or sale of pharmaceuticals, medical devices or other healthcare products.
IMDEC maintains a list of its board members. This list is updated at regular intervals or whenever significant changes take place. The membership list includes the following information:
- Name
- Earned degree
- Scientific status
- Representative capacity
- Indications of experience
- Specific membership status
A list of IMDEC’s members will be made available to interested sponsors and investigators upon request.
